SATISKY FAMILY MENTAL HEALTH & PERFORMANCE

The University of Georgia Satisky Family Mental Health & Performance (MH&P) department is dedicated to providing UGA student- athletes with comprehensive psychological services and mental skills training. We aim to be an industry leader in student- athlete mental health by integrating clinical services, sport performance enhancement, and team culture building. By providing mental health education and support to the UGA athletics community, we work to foster a “culture of caring” emphasizing diversity, inclusion, advocacy, and ethical practice. We believe student- athletes are more than their sport and value all aspects of identity development in supporting the overall wellness of each student athlete, both in and out of their sport.

UGA Mental Health and Performance offers confidential services to student-athletes in the athletics department. Consistent with state law, counselors will not speak with anyone about your treatment, without your written consent. (Exceptions pertaining to your safety and the safety of others do exist).
