Sam Dromsky Named to 2020 SEC Community Service Team

ATHENS, Ga. – Sam Dromsky, a senior of the University of Georgia men’s tennis team, has been named to the 2020 Southeastern Conference Community Service team, the league office announced Wednesday. 

Since stepping onto campus in the fall of 2016, Dromsky has been an active member of the Athens and UGA community. The Augusta, Georgia, native served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee for three years. He was also a member of the 2019-20 Student Health Advisory Committee and volunteered at the local humane society.

While staying involved in the community, Dromsky is also an engaged student in the classroom. He was named a 2019 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete and garnered Presidential Scholar honors for the fall 2019 semester after finishing the term with a perfect 4.00 GPA. Most recently, he was recognized by The Georgia Way for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher during the 2018-19 school year. 

Dromsky will begin dental school in the fall at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.
