  • How do you submit an application?
    • The application process is online and the first step is to follow a link on the flyer which will be distributed to schools in early November. You do not submit a hard copy/paper application anywhere.
  • What is the best way applicants can prepare between now and the application deadline?
    • Prepare your resume.
    • Practice interviewing.
  • Is a cover letter or extra document (beside the resume) required to apply?
    • No other document is required to apply.
    • Applicants will fill out a quick form in the application with basic information (name, major, area of interest at Nike, sport, etc.).
  • What is the GPA requirement to apply?
    • Minimum GPA 3.0. (slightly flexible).
  • Who can apply?
    • Applicants must have a graduation date between December 2017 – June 2018.
      • This means graduating seniors (who are still eligible to compete) AND are also going into a grad program with the above graduation date can apply.
      • If a sophomore has the above graduation date and is eligible to compete, they can apply.
  • What are the Nike Sports Marketing Internship program start and end dates?
    • START: May 31, 2017 (or June 12th if school or sport obligation)
    • END: August 17, 2017

APPLICATION PROCESS (SIMPLE VERSION):

  • STEP 1: Students sign up for the virtual presentation event by following the link on the “Sign up for Virtual Presentation” flyer.
    • Enter all of the information requested (name, major, area of interest at Nike, etc). There is a spot to submit resume at the bottom. Do not submit your resume here. Students will submit their resume in the last step after they watch the virtual presentation. Press the submit button.
    • Internet browser will move to a new page and display the message You have successfully registered for this event! We look forward to meeting with you!”
  • STEP 2: Within 24 hours of signing up, the applicants will be emailed a link to sign up for 1 of 9 specific day/time virtual presentations.
    • The first sign up link (STEP 3) is just signing up for the event itself. This step is the applicant selecting the date and time of the presentation the student wishes to attend. Follow the link and pick a specific date/time virtual presentation.
  • STEP 3: Student watches presentation.
  • STEP 4: Recruiter contacts all applicants via email with a link to finish their application.
    • This is link is where applicants will upload their resume and finish inputting any missing information.
  • STEP 5: Applicant follows link and submits resume and missing information.
