The following was written by Connor Haigh, a member of the Men’s Swimming team. During the summer of 2024, Connor had the opportunity to intern with Evans General Contractors in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Over the summer, I learned about the mechanical and electrical backbone of data centers, along with the engineering principles behind it. I am extremely thankful for Evans General Contractors and the experience I gained in such short time, and I strongly recommend that other athletes at UGA follow a similar path before they graduate.
