The following was written by Brennan Cheney, a senior on the Men’s Swimming & Diving Team. Brennan is majoring in Finance and had the opportunity to intern with Bonaventure Capital in the summer of 2024.
Over this past summer, I interned with Bonaventure Capital which is a small venture capital firm out of Birmingham, Alabama. I worked as a hybrid remote intern dealing with a handful of their portfolio companies, as well as working with several CEOs of other venture capital firms to enhance my knowledge of the venture capital space. I was able to assist these firms with projects, sourcing, and research while gaining experience along the way.
