Brittany Gray Recognized on SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced its 2018 Softball Community Service Team Wednesday. Georgia senior pitcher Brittany Gray was one of 13 members honored for their service in the community. 
 
The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 21 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
 
Gray is actively involved in multiple community service activities on Georgia’s campus. She has volunteered for such things as Chess & Community as well as the Special Olympics Baseball Game and the Special Olympics Prom. Gray has also worked on the “Safe Routes” to school program at Barrow Elementary School. She spent her time aiding at the Foodbank of Northeast Georgia “Hunger Bowl” and with supply relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey. 
 
She is a senior from Greenwood, Indiana majoring Communications Studies. She will receive her degree next year.
